PICE Qatar Chapter is currently organizing a technical seminar on the advancement of concrete technology. We plan to hold the seminar on 12 March 2010. Venue to be announced later.
The seminar will cover concrete fundamentals, high performance concrete, self compacting concrete (SCC) and the latest development on chemical admixtures (superplasticizer, hyperplasticizer, corrosion inhibitor, waterproofing, etc.) and additves (fly ash, micro silica, ggbs etc,).
There will also be an actual demostration on how SCC is being tested.
We have identified resource speakers who are experts on concrete technology to make the presentation.
This will be a one day seminar starting from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
For this seminar we need 100 participants. There will be a minimum charge to cover the cost of the lunch.
